Bridge of tanker “Partizansk” PRISCO flagship has become some kind of higher school for PRISCO masters. In November Victor Veremeenko started working here before he had worked on other PRISCO large-tonnage vessels of “Moscalvo” type. In the beginning of December crew of the 100,000 tons dwt tanker under management of the new master is to take crude oil from the accumulation tanker “Okha” and deliver it to one of the Japanese ports. It is possible that tanker will have to make one more such voyage on transportation of Sakhalin oil as it is still intensively extracted on Vityaz terminal. The most experienced PRISCO masters improve their skills to operate large-tonnage vessels on m/t “Primorye” – first Aframax in PRISCO fleet. They will need these skills in the near future as several vessels of similar type will be soon put into operation. As it is known two vessels of 100,000 tons dwt are being built in Croatia for PRISCO and also PRISCO signed a contract for building of three more tankers of 100,000 tons dwt in the Shipyard of Ulsan, South Korea. In 2004 vessels which are being built in Brodosplit Shipyard will be put into operations, in 2005-2006 PRISCO will get tankers from South Korean Shipyard. Preparing for getting new Aframaxes PRISCO management has given a task to its Departments – to pass the most prospective PRISCO officers through the “school” of tanker “Primorye”. The best masters of the Company Valentin Serikov, Vyacheslav Bulavin, Sergey Mezenin, Alexander Bulatov have already finished their “study” in this “school”.
