The Company ranks 55th among two hundred largest companies of Russiaand 17th among twenty most profitable companies.

For the sixth time the Kommersant-Dengi magazine publishes the annual list of the largest issuers of the country. According to the data published by the magazine in its issue No. 33 of August 25, 2003 Uralkali is among two hundred largest companies of Russia. Whereas last year Uralkali ranked 62nd in this list, now it rose to the 55th place. Uralkali ranks 17th among twenty companies declared to be most profitable.

In twelve months - from June 2002 to June 2003 the capitalization of the company increased more than two times. At present, the market value of OJSC Uralkali is $151.36 million. In 2001, the net profit of the company was $35.73 million, in 2002 it increased to $38.28 million.

In the list of enterprises of the chemical industry Uralkali ranks second after Togliatti-azot. Among all Perm enterprises included in the list of the largest enterprises of Russia Uralkali is second only to Uralsvyazinform. The other regional chemical enterprises included in the list are Silvinit (Solikamsk) which ranks 115th (97th in 2002) and Berezniki joint-stock companies Avisma (191st) and Azot (194th) which were not included in this list last year.
