Led by Alexey Miller, Chairman of Gazprom Management Committee the Company’s delegation is taking part in the XIII St. Petersburg Economic Forum.

As part of the Forum, Alexey Miller had several meetings with leaders of global energy companies.

In particular, Alexey Miller met with Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. The meeting participants discussed the bilateral cooperation issues including creation of a joint venture to perform geological exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons, engineering of an associated gas gathering and processing system and construction of power generation facilities in Nigeria. The Nigerian party expressed interest in having Gazprom as a partner for the Trans-Sahara Gas Pipeline Project.

Alexey Miller also held talks with Paolo Scaroni, Eni Chief Executive Officer and Fulvio Conti, Enel Chief Executive Officer. The parties addressed the prospects for joint projects execution.
