| Moscow and New York (March 5, 2008) - Open Joint Stock Company “Vimpel-Communications” (“VimpelCom” or the “Company”) (NYSE: VIP) announced today that it will webcast its conference call on its fourth quarter and twelve month 2007 financial and operating results on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. Moscow time (11:30 a.m. ET). The conference call will be hosted by Alexander Izosimov, Chief Executive Officer. He will be joined by Elena Shmatova, Chief Financial Officer, Nikolay Pryanishnikov, Executive Vice President – General Director, Russia; and Kent McNeley, Chief Marketing Officer. The press release announcing the Company’s fourth quarter and twelve month 2007 financial and operating results will be available on the Company's web site, located at https://www.vimpelcom.com, prior to the conference call.
