The Board of Directors’ meeting is in progress at Gazprom’s Headquarters.

The Board has approved the conclusion of a Supplementary Agreement ?1 to the existing Contract between Gazprom and Northgas as a deal of corporate interest.

Under the Agreement, in 2006 Gazprom will purchase from Northgas some 4.2 bcm of dry stripped gas worth RUR 450 per 1,000 cu m (excluding VAT).

The Supplementary Agreement ?1 is an integral part of the Gas Supply Contract signed between Gazprom and Northgas.

In pursuance of the Contract, Northgas will channel gas to Gazprom’s gas transmission network from January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2008. Gazprom is committed to receiving and paying for said gas.
