Today, at the official ceremony held in the framework of InfoCom-2005, Rostelecom was presented with the certificate of conformity of its Quality Management System (QMS) to the requirements of ???? ? ??? 9001-2001 (ISO 9001:2000). Irina Zhdankina, Head of SVYAZ-SERTIFICAT Quality Systems Certification Body, while giving the Certificate to Rostelecom’s General Director Dmitry Yerokhin, said: “For me, it is a real pleasure to present such a certificate to Rostelecom. Quality Management Systems certification is aimed at focusing a company on its customers’ needs and from now on, all Rostelecom’s clients are ensured that they are offered services of high quality and reliability.” According to Dmitry Yerokhin: “At the moment, we are enhancing the efficiency of business processes on all management levels and QMS implementation is part and parcel of this general strategy. Our further step – certification of every Company’s service to comply with the requirements of quality standards, because I am confident: it is providing all our customers with the services of high quality that is one of Rostelecom’s main competitive advantages.” After the certificate-giving ceremony, at Rostelecom’s booth a briefing for press was held.
