Kiev, January 30, 2004. Ukraine’s State Communications and Information Technology Committee has issued certificates of compliance for special-service electronic components (MEDIO IN) and analog-to-digital converters analog data digitizers (MEDIO PCM) to STROM telecom. Now, the company holds SSEC and ADC certificates in Russia and Ukraine. SSEC and ADC equipment from STROM telecom was put through certification tests at the Communications Equipment Test Laboratory at the Odessa Communications Research Institute. Institute experts conducted shop tests at the company’s plant in Votice and field tests on the network of OAO Ukrtelecom Company. MEDIO IN equipment is installed in the networks of several communications operators in Moscow (MGTS and MTU-Inform), Syzran, Togliatti, and several other cities in Russia. MEDIO platform-based services are provided by telecommunications operators in Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic, the US, and a few other countries. STROM telecom is a Czech company that develops and manufactures a wide range of up-to-date switchgear, information systems and technologies for telecoms operators.
