ROSSETI

March 26, 2021

The volume of purchases by Rosseti reached 635 billion rubles in 2020. Among the suppliers are companies from 82 regions of Russia

By the previous year, the volume of purchases increased by 13.5%.

Andrey Mayorov, First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer, spoke about the interaction between Rosseti and suppliers at the GOSZAKAZ forum today.

Key messages:

- Rosseti will continue working on import substitution, including in cooperation with the Industrial Development Fund. This will make it possible to increase the company's resistance to risks, reduce dependence on the unstable post-COVID-19 external environment, and contribute to an increase in the market share of Russian suppliers. At the end of 2020, the share of domestic suppliers in the Rosseti group amounted to 92.1%.

- One of the basic directions is partnership with defense industry enterprises. Since 2017, Rosseti has placed orders with this category of suppliers for 17.8 billion rubles, including almost 4.9 billion rubles in 2020. As part of partnership with Rostec, two new manufactures of "smart" meters have been created.

- Problematic product segments that require separate study (microelectronic components, circuit breakers with high breaking capacity, certain types of GIS, etc.) still remain. A draft agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Rosseti and RusHydro has been prepared. The goal consists in forming a consolidated need and determining the feasibility and mechanisms for developing new types of Russian products.

The GOSZAKAZ Forum and Exhibition is the largest event in Russia in the field of state, municipal and corporate procurement. A cross-cutting issue of the current year is working with suppliers of high-tech products. Representatives of Rosseti participate in a thematic round table on import substitution in the energy sector, as well as in a business lunch, where the development of procurement legislation is discussed.
