Rosseti has launched the first All-Russian contest, Power Industry Leaders, with support of Russia - Country of Opportunities (autonomous non-profit agency).
The project is intended to create the pool of executives comprising the most professional and motivated industry specialists of the country who are ready to fulfill large-scale objectives of the Russian power grid development.
Chief engineers of production units and heads of power grid districts aged under 55, having specialized higher education, are eligible to apply for participation. The application can be submitted via the official website, Ëèäåðûýíåðãåòèêè.ðô. The registration of participants will last till August 2. Employees of Rosseti Group and their peers from other power grid companies are invited to take part in the open contest
The contest shall comprise several stages. At the first stage, the participants will undergo online testing, and the Top 400 participants will continue the contest during the second, practical, stage to be held in 38 power grid districts (Rosseti Urals responsibility area).
The final evaluation efforts on August 28 to 30 will help identify the Top 100 energy professionals. The development and mentoring programs will be developed and implemented for the winners by the industry's leading experts.
According to Mr. Pavel Livinskiy, Rosseti's CEO, who will act as a mentor himself, the Power Industry Leaders contest is a real opportunity to "show oneself and take personal part in implementation of the global project of digital transformation of the power grids, in the team of the world's biggest power grid holding."
"Leadership is truly displayed in everyday work. Chelyabinsk will receive one of the key events of SCO and BRICS summits in 2020. We should be 100% ready. The final scores will, in particular, depend on what solutions to improve the region's power supply reliability the energy companies will offer," noted Pavel Livinskiy.
