MOSENERGO is planning to pay 211 billion rubles in dividends for 2000. MOSENERGO Director General Alexander Remezov announced the news on March 7. The company's board of directors will hold its annual meeting in March (date TBA) to review the results of 2000, set the distribution of profits and losses and determine the amount of dividends to recommend at the annual stockholders conference. The actual dividends will be fixed at the annual conference of stockholders scheduled for May 18.

The total dividends for 1999 was 70 million rubles, with .003 rubles dividends per 1 share. The forecast for 2000 is .007 ruble per share.
