Russian Federation Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev gives high award to IDGC of Center and Volga Region, JSC for its performance

The subsidiary of JSC “Rossetti” - IDGC of Center and Volga Region, JSC was awarded the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality. The honorary award for achievement of significant results in terms of quality of products and services and implementation of high-efficient quality management was given officially by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on the eve to Irina Yashanina, the Deputy General Director - Head of the administrative apparatus of IDGC of Center and Volga Region, JSC.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dmitry Medvedev said that the governmental award was always assessment of the work of a team of people, it was a kind of gold medal for achievements in quality of products and services ensured by companies, and successful management solutions.
"The requirements to product quality, labor productivity rise everywhere, grow worldwide. There is a continuous update of such requirements, so the process of self-improvement remains a key factor for the development of our business. There is no single formula for success. Actually, all you and your companies are the formula for success. Different teams, different people, different tasks, but ultimately you all achieve a good result. In fact, it is very important for us, for our country," the Prime Minister said, addressing the representatives of winning companies.
Governmental Awards in the field of quality were established by RF Government Decree #423 dd. April 12, 1996 in order to promote improvement of the quality of products and services, promoting implementation of effective methods of quality management. Direct holding of the competition for the prizes is the responsibility of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart).
No more than 12 awards are provided annually, of which no more than three ones are given to the organizations employing less than 250 people, no more than three ones – to the entities with the number of employees fr om 250 to 1,000 people, and no more than six ones – the companies employing over 1,000 people, among which IDGC of Center and Volga Region", JSC became the winner. This year, the government awards were given to seven Russian companies in total.
The way to a high government award was for IDGC of Center and Volga Region, JSC long and difficult: the company previously was about to obtain the premium – it became diploma-winner three times.
"The expert commission in its conclusions emphasized both the strengths of the entity operations, and areas wh ere improvements could be introduced. We have taken into account all the recommendations, and have become winners this year,” the General Director of IDGC of Center and Volga Region, JSC Evgeny Ushakov said. “This award for us means that we have reached a high level, under Russian standards, and obliges us to continue to "keep the reputation”. Our company will continue to work to improve the quality of business processes, customer relations and ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers.”
The strategic course of the company to improve the quality of services is confirmed by the fact that shortly before giving the governmental premium, the branch of IDGC of Center and Volga Region, JSC - "Udmurtenergo" became the winner of the All-Russia competition of another government program to assess the quality of services, which was held by the Rosstandart - "Best 100 goods of Russia" - 2013.
The company was honored in the category "Services of the production and technical purposes" for the provision of services on technological connection to electric grids. During the year 2013, "Udmurtenergo" signed 4,373 contracts for technological connection of the total capacity of 109,861 kW. In total, 3,364 applicants were connected, including 3,175 - the privileged category. The average time for implementation of the technological connection dropped from 185 days in 2010 to 51 days in 2013.
