During last two weks AO MOSENERGO has completed the reconstruction of 20 out of 23 high-voltage electric lines. Broken lines and burnt pylons have been replace with new ones.
Currently, the repair teams of Noginsk Grids, a branch of AO MOSENERGO, are working to re-build two disconnected aerial 110 kV lines located on the border of Orekhovo-Zuevo and Shatura district.These lines have been almost completely destroyed by fires. One of them is likely to be re-built by mid-October, another one is likely to be operable in December.
There is one disconnected 110 kV line in Shatura region. The specialists from Shatura Grids will have to lay a line approximately 4 km long. The work is to be completed by mid-October.
Despite the ongoing repairs, consumers in Orekhovo-Zuevo and Shatura districts receive power in full thanks to the use of back-up limes of AO MOSENERGO.
The situation is stable and there is practically no risk that new lines can be damaged. Electricians are somewhat worried about peat condition in Electrozavodsk area where an aerial line on wooden pylons is located. AO MOSENERGO’s emergency teams in this area are doing their best to prevent fires from happening.
