Uninterrupted power supply was discussed in Chuvashia

A business meeting of Mikhail Ignatiev, Head of the Chuvash Republic, and Dmitry Ivanov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, Director of Chuvashenergo, took place in Cheboksary.

The main topics for discussion were uninterrupted power supply in the region and energization of new streets. The Head of the Republic noted that during the year no serious failures or breaches of the energy system safety have been reported. Dmitry Ivanov, in his turn, assured that both the personnel and energy facilities of Chuvashenergo are fully prepared for peak loads of the autumn-winter season. In September, the branch received the Certificate of Preparedness for Autumn-Winter Operations which confirms quality of the repair and maintenance works conducted this year.

The evaluation was performed by a special committee of representatives of the executive body of IDGC of Volga, technical supervision authorities and EMERCOM. The Head of Chuvashia expressed gratitude to IDGC of Volga for investing into construction of Kommunalnaya 110 kV outdoor distribution unit which has been ensuring reliability of power supply to the existing consumers and provides possibility for new connections in the south-western district of Chuvash capital.

The meeting also focused on energization of new streets in the Chuvash Republic. 223 power supply facilities have been constructed since 2010, of which 23 facilities were funded by Chuvashenergo. By the end of the year, 4 new energy facilities are to be connected to the power grids.
