Sergey Kraynev, Minister of Energy and Utilities of the Samara region, Mikhail Mikhaylin, Head of MiddleVolga Directorate of Rostekhnadzor for the Samara region, and heads of major regional energy companies visited the Stadium 110/10 kV substation owned and operated by Samara Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies). 
Konstantin Sanaev, Deputy Director General of IDGC of Volga, PJSC and Director of Samara Distribution Grids, introduced this main feeder station providing electricity for Samara Arena Stadium, a facility under construction, including the latest solutions of domestic manufacturers of power equipment. He reported on the progress of construction of this power facility, and commented on equipment installed at this substation, new technological solutions and potential consumers. Konstantin Sanaev pointed out that certain power equipment was provided by manufacturers of the Samara region. 
During the meeting, special consideration was given to such issues as technological connection of future consumers, readiness of operational and on-duty personnel, and anti-terrorism security of the facility. All planned activities were implemented by the branch specialists in full. The Stadium 110/10 kV substation with the capacity of 80 MVA was put into operation by President of the Russian Federation during the official video conference held in mid-November. The substation is a closed-type low-maintenance state-of-the-art power facility that accommodates home-produced equipment providing such benefits as cost-efficiency, energy-efficiency, flexibility, and ease of use. Such approach ensured bespoke features and high reliability of the substation.
