To ensure the reliable power supplies to consumers residing to the northwest of the region and facilities of Oil Company Rosneft, PJSC, Northern Production Department (PD) of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), routes a new 110 kV power transmission line extending at 39 km from the NPS substation to Chkalovskaya substation. The construction of this new energy facility is covered by the 2017 investment program. All works provided by the investment project were divided into two stages. The first stage in 2016 included reconstruction of the NPS substation as a prerequisite condition to implement the second stage, construction of 110 kV NPS — Chkalovskaya power line. During the construction phase, the electricians will install 44 anchor corner supports, 184 intermediate reinforced concrete supports and will route 39 km of wire. To date, the working crews have already installed and mounted 7 anchor supports and 36 intermediate supports. Simultaneously to construction of the new 110 kV power line, the personnel of Northern PD will reconstruct the Chkalovskaya substation and ramp up its voltage from 35 kV to 110 kV. The construction of the high-voltage power line will be completed by the end of 2017.
