A workshop intended to share positive experience of organizing work of economic services of Rosseti's affiliates and subsidiaries took place in Samara office of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group). The event was headed by Oksana Shatokhina, Rosseti's Deputy General Director for Economics. The participants reviewed the results of the previous year and discussed urgent issues of tariff regulation, economy and accounting. The specialists of the economic bloc of IDGC of Volga, PJSC shared their positive experience of organizing work within the functional directions.
The participants focused on implementation of the plan for improving operating efficiency for 2017–2021. Oksana Shatokhina, Rosseti's Deputy General Director for Economics, highly appreciated positive financial indicators of the affiliates and subsidiaries in the present-day economic environment and highlighted the necessity of ensuring loss-free activities and keeping up with the 2016 financial results (under RAS and IFRS). In her speech, she also told that today's long-term tariff regulation methods should be upgraded. Fixing a network maintenance rate based on cost standards is one of key objectives for 2017. Introduction of reference costs with account of technological environment of electric grid facilities in different constituent entities of the Russian Federation will allow using best practices for organizing effective operations of all grid companies.
In his speech, Dmitry Nagovitsyn, Director of Accounting and Reporting Department, Rosseti's Chief Accountant, dwelt on the 2017 road map, development of Rosseti Group's common principles for tax computation and unification of bookkeeping principles with account of specific nature of activities, and emphasized the necessity of defining common accounting principles and guidelines on some bookkeeping issues.
The agenda of the workshop also included issues of funding investment programs, improving long-term tariff regulation methods — organizing and controlling business planning process, developing separate accounting methods, defining scenario conditions for business plans, etc.
The participants of the meeting highly appreciated the efficiency of such events that give the opportunities to share positive experience, discuss urgent issues and make plans for boosting the operating efficiency of all affiliates and subsidiaries.
