In 2002, AO MOSENERGO power stations generated 71.2 bn kWt-h of electricity which is 0.2% lower than last year. This decrease was caused by operational conditions set by RAO UES. In accordance with the direction from the Central Dispatch AO MOSENERGO decreased the load on its power stations.
Despite decreased production levels in 2002, generation of electricity in Moscow grew by 2.1% against last year, reaching 48.4 bn kWt-h.
