With the debt exceeding 42 M rubles, Power Grid Company (NESK), CJSC remains at the top of the list of companies failing to pay for power transmission services delivered by IDGC of Volga, PJSC. NESK's core activity is transmission and distribution of electricity among different industrial facilities and private households. This company declared that it is committed to client-focused service. But this is not the case for its business partners. In December, 2016, NESK failed to pay almost 10.447 M rubles. NESK's debt in January and February exceeded 12.68 M rubles and 12.598 M rubles, respectively, with the advance payment in March of 6.396 M rubles. Bound by court orders in favor of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, NESK discharges its debt from time to time. This means that the debtor has got money, but probably it's cheaper to pay the debt plus interest on third-party money pursuant to a court order than to get a bank loan. RT-Energotrading, LLC (RT-ET) owes almost the same amount to IDGC of Volga, PJSC. RT-ET kept accruing its debt to the largest electric grid company almost every month throughout the previous year starting March, 2016. Its debt as of March 22, 2017 exceeded 38 M rubles. Therefore, a nice slogan “Reliable and Trustworthy Partner” posted on RT-ET‘s website is defeated by nonpayments and nonperformance under contracts signed with its partners.
