August 7, 1997 - LUKOIL insurance company transferred 250 million rubles to the fund for the survivors and families of victims of the July 27 destructive collapse at the office of Chernushkaneft, an oil and gas extracting division of LUKOIL-Permneft company.

The medical insurance company Adonis+ belonging to the LUKOIL insurance group organized the hospital treatment of the survivors and purchased the necessary medical equipment and medicines.

The pension fund LUKOIL-Garant is ready to start paying an additional lifetime pension to LUKOIL-Permneft employees disabled by the collapse.

The material damage to be compensated by insurance is estimated at 2.5 billion rubles.

LUKOIL First Vice President Ravil Maganov who is on the commission investigating the causes of the collapse has declared that the company will continue helping the survivors and families of victims.
