IDGC of Volga, PJSC (subsidiary of Rosseti, PJSC) on a delegation of the Saratov region takes part in Russian Investment Forum that has been opened today in Sochi.
This event is focused on new projects encouraging the growth. The agenda of the two-week forum includes three sections: “New regional policy. Development opportunities”, “Improving business efficiency. Growth opportunities”, and “Implementing welfare projects.” The expected number of participants of the event is about four thousand people including directors of major companies and delegations from the United States, Austria, France, Great Britain, Germany and other countries.
The Saratov region will present its promising investment projects including 110/10 kV Airport substation intended to ensure continuous power supplies to a new airport complex called “Tsentralny” near the Saburovka settlement (Saratov district).
 Tsentralny Airport is one of key projects of the Saratov region. Due to its implementation, the region will become Povolzhye’s dominant transport hub which will offer multiple investment opportunities and contribute to the development of neighboring areas. Cutover of 110/10 kV Airport substation is a significant milestone of this project.
 The substation is fitted with two power transformers (16 MVA each), 110 kV SF6 circuit breakers, 110 kV disconnectors with porcelain insulation, and 10 kV vacuum circuit breakers. It took two years for IDGC of Volga, PJSC to build this power facility and ensure smooth power supplies both to Saratov’s Tsentralny terminal building (keeping in mind further infrastructural development of the region) and residents of neighboring settlements.
The display stand of the Saratov region in Sochi was attended by the Governor Valery Radaev who met Oleg Budargin, Rosseti’s CEO, and Vladimir Ryabikin, IDGC of Volga’s CEO. They discussed opportunities for development of the regional distribution power grid complex.
