LUKOIL-Racing 2 Finished Third in Debut

September 14 open track heats in the fourth and final stage of the Moscow championship for the Rothman's-ASPAS Cup were held in Moscow. The LUKOIL racing team was in good form and finished with excellent results.

Vladimir Cherevan finished second in the Touring Class and youthful racecar driver Dmitry Korolyov finished right behind in the debut for the LUKOIL-Racing 2 team.

In Formula-3 racing, Alberto Piedemonte guided his Dallara to the checkered flag. After a dramatic battle, Viktor Maslov finished third.

In the Super Touring class, Britain's Richard Key outclassed the competition. Nikolai Bolshikh had to withdraw from the race when he had problems with his Honda.

Those are the preliminary results of the fourth stage of the Cup.

Final results by driver and team will be announced soon.
