In anticipation of the autumn and winter period, Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), repaired its 110/10 kV Ternovka-2 substation. Specialists of the branch overhauled 110 kV outdoor disconnecting switches, 110 kV cut-offs, 110 kV short-circuit breakers, 10 kV switches and repaired 110/10 kV T-1 and T-2 power transformers, voltage and auxiliary transformers, 110 kV arrestors, 110 kV overvoltage suppressors, 10 kV bus sections and 110 kV high-frequency choke.

Located in the Engelssky municipal district (Saratov region), Ternovka-2 substation energizes the pipeline transport facilities.

Timely repair contributes to smoother operation of the substation, more reliable power supplies and longer service life of the power equipment.

The autumn and winter preparation campaign reached out to other branches of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, including Mordovenergo, Penzaenergo, Chuvashenergo, Orenburgenergo, Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids and Samara Distribution Grids.
