During his working visit to Saransk, Vyacheslav Kravchenko, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, met with executive personnel of Mordovenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies). Vyacheslav Kravchenko noted the good progress of electric power infrastructure construction of Mordovia Arena stadium for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Then, Vyacheslav Kravchenko visited the Grid Control Center of Mordovenergo branch. He familiarized himself with the work of operating and dispatching personnel, as well as with the system for management of the power grid facilities of the republic administered by the branch.

The Grid Control Center (GCC) of Mordovenergo branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, was commissioned in 2013. This facility is designed for centralized operations and process management of power grids in the Republic of Mordovia. Information from power facilities is instantly processed and displayed on a 2.1 to 5.6 meters video wall, which has no analogs in Mordovia. Process systems functioning on the basis of PSI control software and hardware system ensure on-line control over the whole power system of the regions, as well as over parameters of each individual power facility.
