In 2016, the regional government and a subsidiary of Rosseti – PJSC Lenenergo – will intensify their efforts to supply electric power to residents and enterprises in the Leningrad Region.
This goal was set by Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the 47th region, and Oleg Budargin, Director General of PJSC Rosseti, during their meeting. The parties mentioned that the priority task both for power engineers and for authorities is catching up with outstanding orders for connection to the power networks which Lenenergo had accumulated over the previous years.
Accordingly, a decision was taken to have a joint inventory of unfulfilled orders for connection.
Taking into account the dynamic development of industrial and agricultural production on the territory of the 47th region, the Governor of the Leningrad Region offered first of all to provide investment projects, especially in villages, with electric power.
Roman Berdnikov, acting Director General of Lenenergo, reported to Alexander Drozdenko the results of the company’s operations to provide reliable electric power supply to consumers. In particular, 4000 hectares of electric power line forest roads were expanded, 200 reclosers and 100 power transformers of 35-110 kV were installed, and 600 km of modern self-insulating cable were assembled during the 3 years of the large-scale repair program.
During the meeting, Alexander Drozdenko thanked the management of Rosseti and Lenenergo for prompt repairs to breakdowns of electric power lines caused by acts of nature, and expressed his readiness to help power engineers to reduce the number of accidents due to external factors, and provide uninterrupted supply of electricity to residents and enterprises in the Leningrad Region.
