This year the Moscow Technical College (MTC), the only Moscow college that trains pupils in power specialties, will have around 200 graduates. Today, the MTC administration has held a ceremony distributing to graduates the diplomas of power technicians and accountant-planners. 19 graduates were awarded diplomas with distinction.
During the three years young specialists received unique practical and theoretical training fully meeting modern requirements of the power generation industry. Most graduates have been already enrolled in various AO MOSENERGO divisions. Many MTC colleges plan to continue education in the Moscow Energy University (MEI) and the Moscow Institute for Steel and Alloys (MISIS).
MTC was founded in 1989. In 1992, it became affiliated with AO MOSENERGO. MTC has a modern scientific and technical base and unique training technologies. Each year the MTC trains more than 900 students. In 11 years, the MTC trained around 3 thousand qualified specialists for the power sector.
In mid-June MTC held entrance exams. More than 300 entrants applied to MTC. After examinations, 120 entrants became MTC students.
