St-Petersburg, Russia; 29 December, 2014– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its twenty-fourth supermarket in the Moscow region.
The new store is located at 139 Voroshilova Street, Serpukhov. The supermarket has a total area of 1,400 sq.m with 909 sq.m of selling space and is open from 8 am to 11 pm, seven days a week. The store provides a broad product assortment of approximately 6,500 SKUs including Lenta private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store has 50 parking spaces and 8 cash registers. The property is leased by Lenta.
This latest opening in Serpukhov is Lenta’s 14th supermarket opening in 2014 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 106 hypermarkets in 60 cities across Russia and 24 supermarkets in the Moscow region.
