Lenta opens its third hypermarket in Novokuznetsk

With this opening, Lenta expands its network in Siberia to 20 hypermarkets in 10 cities.

St-Petersburg, Russia; 28 November, 2014– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its third hypermarket in Novokuznetsk.

The new store is a Lenta standard format hypermarket located in “Planeta” shopping mall at 10A Doz Street, Novokuznetsk. The store has a total area of 12,068 sq.m, with 7,056 sq.m of selling space and is open from 10 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. A broad product assortment of 27,000 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Novokuznetsk and includes Lenta’s private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store has 400 parking spaces and 37 cash registers. The property is leased by Lenta.

The opening of this hypermarket in Novokuznetsk brings the total number of Lenta stores to 90 hypermarkets in 51 cities across Russia and 18 supermarkets in the Moscow region.

Lenta is listed on the London Stock Exchange and on the Moscow Exchange and trades under the ticker: ‘LNTA’.
