Specialists of Saratov DG, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) completed repair works at 110/10/10 kV Gazovaya substation in Petrovsky district of the Saratov region. This substation provides electric power for production facilities of Petrovskoye operations and maintenance department for main gas pipelines and for other regional consumers. During planned repair operations at two power transformers 80 ÌVA each, six bushings with porcelain insulators were replaced for polymer bushings. New bushings are maintenance-free, fire-and explosion proof and demonstrate stable performance throughout their service life. All these features ensure safe operation of transformers and reduced operating costs. Apart from bushing replacement, specialists completed routine repairs of the core equipment installed at 110 kV outdoor switchgear (isolating switches, high-voltage circuit breakers, etc.). Completed works ensure increased safety of maintenance personnel and extended service life of the equipment.
