Bashneft has launched a programme aimed at reorganizing its petroleum products retail sales business. The reorganization involves consolidation of the Company’s subsidiaries and branches specializing in retail sales into a single legal entity, LLC Bashneft-Retail Sales. The company was established by renaming an existing subsidiary, LLC Bashneft-Udmurtia, which is registered in Ufa, Bashkortostan
‘The reorganization is aimed at improving the efficiency of retail sales of petroleum products by optimizing administrative costs, standardizing business processes, centralizing business areas such as secondary logistics, maintenance and cashless settlement,’ commented Maxim Andriasov, Bashneft’s First Vice President for Refining and Commerce. ‘The reorganization, which we plan to complete before the end of the year, will not entail reducing the headcount of our retail sales workforce.’
Andrey Brotsman has been appointed General Director of LLC Bashneft-Retail Sales starting from July 1, 2014.
Andrey Brotsman was born in 1968. He graduated from Orenburg Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Industrial and Civil Construction in 1994. In 1991–1996 he worked in the construction business for JSC Zapadstroy and JSC Orenburgneftestroy. Since June 1996, Mr. Brotsman has worked for OJSC Orenburgnefteprodukt as chief engineer and director of the Buguruslan oil storage facility, Director for Oil Storage Facilities and Transport, Development Director, Deputy General Director and Commercial Director. In June 2011, he was appointed General Director of OJSC Orenburgnefteprodukt, and since October 2013 he has held the position of director of the Bashneft-Orenburgnefteprodukt Branch of JSOC Bashneft.

As of March 31, 2014, Bashneft’s retail network comprised 486 company-owned filling stations in the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Udmurt Republic, as well as the Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Kurgan, Smolensk, Saratov and Chelyabinsk regions. In addition, the company has 279 partner filling stations in 18 regions of Russia.
