The main purpose of this 45-meter radio tower is to provide improved voice communications services. The new mast will ensure high-quality voice communications between Operational Dispatch Service staff and emergency response crews of Northern Electric Grids of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies). “Interference-free communication channels will significantly facilitate operations of the power specialists.
The 45-meter tower provides 30 km coverage area,” explains Aleksandr Galkin, head of information and communications service of Northern Electric Grids of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC. The new radio tower will accommodate signal amplifiers, antennae feeder devices, EMERCOM alarm and public address systems, and beacon lights.
