Khanty-Mansiysk – UTair Aviation (UTair Aviation, JSC) increased its passenger traffic by 17.3 percent to 755.396m passenger-kilometers in January to May 2004 compared to the corresponding period of 2003.
In the first five months of 2004, basic parameters of activities of the airline continued growing. In particular, passenger transportation by UTair’s planes surged 9 percent to 468,785 people in January to May 2004.
The airline’s planes flew 25,027 hours in the reported period, which was 12.1 percent higher than in the first five months of 2003.
Helicopters of the airline flew 14,774 hours in January to May 2004 exceeding the result of the corresponding period in 2003 by 12.3 percent.
Moreover, UTair’s planes flew 5,513 hours in May 2004 (a 4.1-percent rise) and the passenger traffic advanced 45.2 percent to 224.938m passenger-kilometers.
In May 2004, planes of the airline carried 134,803 passengers and the share of seats occupied was 11.6 percent higher than in May 2003.
