TGC-1 released its operating results for the 9 months of 2013.
In the 9 months of 2013, electricity generation by company’s power plants, including the Murmansk CHP, was 21 bn 873.1 mn kWh, a 1.2% increased compared to the same period of 2012. Electricity sales on the wholesale market grew by 0.4% to 25 bn 299.4 mn kWh.

Thermal power plants’ output in the reporting period was 12 bn 429.9 mn kWh, up 7.2% year-on-year. The increase was due to higher output from CCGT units. With water levels remaining low in the 3d quarter of 2013, hydropower plants’ output declined by 5.8% to 9 bn 443.2 mn kWh.
Total 9 months 2013 output from the new power units at the Yuzhnaya, Pervomayskaya and Pravoberezhnaya power plants was 4 bln. 507.6 mln. kWh or 20.6% of the total output, a 49.8% increase compared to the 9 months of 2012. Equivalent specific fuel consumption by electricity-generating assets in the 9 months of 2013 decreased by 3.1%, demonstrating the greater efficiency of the new equipment.
The overall rate of installed capacity utilization was 46.0%, 1.3 pp down year-on-year.
Heat output, including Murmanskaya CHPP’s output, was 17 mln. 371.7 thous. GCal, a 1.5% decrease compared to the same period last year.
