The parties discussed issues related to the regional electric energy tariff formation as well as prospects for the Arkhangelsk Region to switch over to RAB-regulation. Governor Igor Orlov and General Director of IDGC of the North-West, JSC Sergey Titov discussed issues related to the Arkhangelsk Region electric power grids development in Saint Petersburg. The meeting was attended by Director of Arkhenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West Igor Kotenko. Igor Orlov focused the meeting participants’ attention on complexity of formation the region investment attractiveness for small and medium business entities; additionally, the issue of residential construction facilities connection to electric power grids was handled. Presented to the Governor was a program for reconstruction of electric power grids in Arkhangelsk and consolidation of the electric power grid scheme in Severodvinsk to be undertaken in the next few years. According to the 2012-2017 investment program having been approved of by the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region, 847.92 mln RUR and 373.11 mln RUR will be allocated for reconstruction of grids in Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk accordingly. This will enable increase of power supply reliability, solution of the capacity lack problem and, consequently, that of residential houses permanent connection already in 2013. While speaking of the principles of IDGC of the North-West investment program formation, Sergey Titov noted unavailability of cross-subsidization between the territories included into the Company’s responsibility zone.
