"4,380 million tons of finished products is a good achievement for our company," says Maxim Bakshinsky, Director of Uralkali. "In 2002, we went over the 4-million mark, for the first time in the past ten years. The results of 2003 have clearly shown that the production is steadily rising. In the coming years we must gradually reach even greater production targets. By 2008 we plan to step up the annual production of potassium fertilizers to 7 million tons. This will lay the basis for the achievement of the main strategic objective of Uralkali - to become a leader on the world potassium market."
