Due to results of 2010 operational activity, actual electric energy output in grids of Moscow Cable Networks, a branch of JSC “MOESK” increased by 1.54% in comparison with the plan for 2010, and by 2.38% in comparison with the same period in 2009. Electric energy output in MCN grids in 2010 equaled 39,651.11 million kilowatt per hour. Efficient electric energy output on 2010 equaled 35,574.60 million kilowatt per hour having exceed planned level by 1.34%. In comparison with the same period in 2009, it grew by 2.24%. Actual electric energy losses at MCN electric grids over 12 months equaled 10.28%, or 4,076.5 million kilowatt per hour. Reduction of losses in electric grids is one of priority directions of JSC “MOESK” electric energy transmission activity. To solve this task, the Company implements several measures aimed at cut of losses. Regular raids to reveal unaccounted electric energy consumption, optimization of electric grids by building of 6-20 kV cable lines, replacement (from a smaller to a bigger one) of cable and overhead electric energy transmission lines sections at overloaded lines are carried out, and loading at transformer substations and 0.38 kV electric grids is matched. Over 12 months 2010, work on revelation and recovery of funds regarding agreement-free electric energy consumption was carried out by efforts of MCN, a branch of JSC “MOESK”. More than 182.1 million kilowatt per hour for amount exceeding RUR 579.7 million was recovered. It included 8.8 million kilowatt per hour for amount of RUR 33.4 million recovered during December, 2010.
