Less than a year ago the first test model has been painted at «DURR» painting line, which has been assembled within a very short period at Passenger Car Plant. On November 13, there was painted the 10 000 car body of «Snow Queen» colour. Vassil Kayumov , Deputy Director General of KAMAZ Inc. and Director General of Passenger Car Plant, congratulated the staff with this remarkable event.

«OKA» today can be painted in any of 13 colours upon a customer order. The quality of world level is guaranteed by «Durr» technologies and lacquers of «PPG — Helios» and «Henkel» companies. However, the shop and plant top- management is constantly improving the processes. Next task is to renovate a chamber for increasing volumes of production of passenger cars, painted into «metallic» colour. It is considered to power this production with robots. Mr. Hoppe, the partner from Germany, will visit Passenger Car Plant at the end of November. This business visit is aimed at improvement and development of the painting shop.
