This is a new kind of rolled product that hardens during painting and it was specially developed by the Cherepovets steel makers for the Tolyatti car manufacturers. Besides,  AUTOVAZ had tried the experimental lots of the rolled product with aluminum coating and positive results were obtained. "Severstal" also declared that it starts technical and economic surveys in the area of high-strength steels for automobiles' bodies.

In general, according to Sales Director of JSC "Severstal", cooperation with the key client enters a new stage of development. From now on "Severstal", using the experience of the acquired company Rouge Steel, is going to participate in designing new models of automobiles on initial stages of the projects with the purpose to accommodate production of new standard sizes for the manufacture of automobiles' bodies.
