«The Interregional distribution grid company of Volga» has accepted in operation modular mobile substation (MMS). Its pressure  - 110/10 (6) ê and capacity 25 ÌÂÀ.

«Samara distributive networks» the branch of  the “Interregional distribution grid company of Volga” has been chosen as the place of localization of substation . However due to mobility and convenience of transportation it is easily can be used in any zone of activity of «IDGC of  Volga»,JSC , if necessary. The mobile substation is intended for supply of consumers with the electric power during liquidation of emergency situations; repair and reconstruction of operating substations; building of new substations till the moment of its input in work; in need of operative supply with the electric energy of new objects.

The substation is executed in the form of two modules placed on two semitrailers, with the possibility of their transportation by motor transport. On one of them the complete switching centre with gas-insulated switch 110 kV is mounted, and also the power transformer 110/10 (6) kV. On the second the switching centre 10 (6) êV with all necessary systems of protection and managements is established. In modules systems of ventilation, air-conditioning, the fire alarm system , automatic heating are provided. Modules incorporate among themselves flexible cables 10 êV to isolation from the sewed polyethylene. If necessary the substation is developed and placed in operation for 8 – 12 hours (transportation time is not included).

The second mobile substation will arrive in the order of the company in the autumn of 2009  and will be localized  in the branch of the JSC “IDGC of Volga” -«Saratov distribution grids».
