OJSC TGC-9 initiated the fulfillment of 2008 investment program focused on reconstruction and construction of the heating mains in Yekaterinburg

Large scale 2008 investment program financed at the expense of payments for connection, introduced last year, is being implemented by the power engineers of TGC-9. 14 objects shall be executed this year.


The first object – direct cylinder No.2 at Sverdlovsk HPP has been put into operation. The introduction of another direct cylinder increases the reliability of heat supply to residents of Novaya Sortirovka and Yralmash areas.


There has been sighed the contract with the contractor for implementation of works on the heating main at Popova St. up to Krylova St. The scope of works has been also determined. 500-mm heating main constructed in the 70-s, will be replaced with 700-mm one. The object shall be completed by the beginning of the heating season.


The contracts regarding the reconstruction of the heating mains at Pervomaysk St. (replacement of 200mm pipe to 300mm one), at Vainera St. - Fevralskaya Revolutsiaya St. (replacement of 500mm pipe with 700mm one), Vainera St. – Kuybysheva St. (replacement of 500mm pipe with 700mm one), Cheluskintsev St. (replacement of 500mm pipe with 700mm one) are being concluded.


The construction of the heating main at Tatishcheva St. (800mm) to supply heat to the new “VIZ-Pravoberezhny” district will be started in the nearest future.


Some objects are planned to be commissioned stage-by-stage and be completed in 2009. However the majority of heating mains will be put into operation by the beginning of the heating season 2008-2009.
