Alexander Ananenkov, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee moderated today a meeting in Nadym dedicated to the achievement by Gazprom’s gas production and transportation subsidiaries of production targets for northern Russia between 2008 and 2011.
Participating in the meeting were Bogdan Budzulyak, Member of the Management Committee, Head of the Gas Transportation, Underground Storage and Utilization Department, Yaroslav Golko, Member of the Management Committee, Head of the Investment and Construction Department, Vasily Podyuk, Member of the Management Committee, Head of the Gas, Gas Condensate and Oil Production Department, Igor Fyodorov, Member of the Management Committee, Director General of Gazkomplektimpex, heads and experts of the Company’s core business units and subsidiaries – Gazprom dobycha Yamburg, Gazprom dobycha Urengoy, Gazprom dobycha Nadym, Gazprom dobycha Noyabrsk, Severneftegazprom, Gazprom transgaz Yugorsk, Gazprom transgaz Ukhta, Gazprom transgaz Surgut, Burgaz, Gazpromenergo, VNIIGAZ, VNIPIgazdobycha and other companies.
The participants discussed the major operating targets set before gas production and transportation subsidiaries with regard to reconstructing, technically retrofitting, overhauling and taking into operation new production and transportation capacities for the period up to 2011.
It was also pointed out that a short-term priority of Gazprom’s business was to increase the gas production rate and enhance the gas transportation system throughput capacity. In particular, the Company is facing the tasks of bringing to full capacity the Yuzhno-Russkoye field, Kharvutinskaya area of the Yamburgskoye field, boosting production from the Urengoyskoye and Zapolyarnoye fields, expanding the Urengoy gas transit hub, building new gas transportation capacities for gas conveyance from the Yamal fields.
Special attention was paid to a set of activities needed to be stepped as part of the Comprehensive Program for the reconstruction and technical re-equipment of gas production and transportation facilities. The Program implementation will enable to maintain plateau production from the Nadym-Pur-Taz fields and will increase the general reliability and throughput capacity of the Gazprom gas transportation system.
Following the meeting results the Gazprom core business units and subsidiaries were entrusted with the appropriate tasks.
