The Gazprom Headquarters today hosted a working meeting between Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Vasily Yurchenko, First Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Oblast.
The parties discussed the progress with the Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and the Novosibirsk Oblast Administration.
In particular, the meeting addressed issues related to gas supply to regional consumers and construction of gasification facilities in the region as well as the possibility for Gazprom to purchase gas pipeline branches and distribution stations built at the expense of the regional budget.

In June 2005 Gazprom and the Novosibirsk Oblast Administration signed a Cooperation Agreement and a Gasification Accord.
In 2007 Gazprom supplied the Novosibirsk Oblast with more than 1.6 bcm of gas. This year deliveries are planned at roughly the same level. The regional consumers have no debt to Gazprom for the delivered gas. As of January 1, 2008, advance payments amount to RUR 162 mln.
The residential sector of the Novosibirsk Oblast is gasified at 2 per cent including 2.5 per cent in cities & towns and 0.5 per cent in the rural area. The same rates throughout Russia average 62, 67 and 44 per cent, respectively.
