"Southern Telecommunications Company" PJSC continues to implement a project aimed at providing digital television services under the DiSeL-TV brand in the Southern federal district. Now the DiSeL-TV services will be available to UTK’s subscribers not only in the Krasnodar kray and the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, but also in the Rostov and Stavropol regions.

The DiSeL-TV package features up to 40 television channels with digital image and sound quality. Flat-rate connection fees equal to Rub 500 and monthly subscription fees of Rub 100 are now offered to the telecom operator’s clients in the Krasnodar kray and the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.

"Southern Telecommunications Company" PJSC has been providing the digital TV service under the DiSeL-TV brand since December 1, 2005 for all its subscribers in the Krasnodar kray who subscribed to broadband Internet access services using ADSL2+ technology and UTK’s access networks on the basis of the Ethernet-to-the-home technology in Krasnodar. The base of DiSeL-TV customers in the Krasnodar kray stood at 4,638 as of March 1, 2007.

"UTK" PJSC opened a pilot zone to render the DiSeL-TV service in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria on November 1, 2006. Hi-speed Internet users in the republican capital Nalchik are offered 17 television and 2 radio channels with digital image and sound quality.

The value of the DiSeL-TV project will be Rub 16 mln in the Stavropol kray, Rub 12 mln in the Rostov region and Rub 6 mln in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria. The payback period is projected at 3-5 years.
