At Gazprom Headquarters, Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee has chaired a meeting on gas supply and gasification of the Kamchatka Oblast. Attending the meeting were heads and specialists of the Gazprom core business units and subsidiaries.

The participants underscored that the regional gas supply and gasification is a top priority to provide reliable energy supply for Kamchatka consumers and its socioeconomic development.

The participants particularly specified that at present Gazprom being responsible for gas supply in the Russian Federation and coordinating the Eastern Gas Program examines issue relevant to participation in the Kamchatgazprom gas pipeline construction project pursuant to the Instructions of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The participants specified the project compliance with the Gazprom goals set up and decided to arrange for a business trip Gazprom’s specialists to the Kamchatka Oblast in the aim of detail examining the project participation and preparing relevant provisions to the Government of the Russian Federation.
