The Gazprom Magazine won the BCP Award-2006 golden prize presented by European Corporate Publishing Verband (ECPV) which is the Europe’s largest corporate press association.

The awarding ceremony took place within the 3rd International Forum Corpress-2006 held in Moscow.

At the moment of resenting the award to Andrey Chernakov, Chief Editor of the Gazprom Magazine, Michael Hoflich, ECPV Executive Director emphasized that the association was familiar with Gazprom’s publication and pleased to point to the Magazine’s qualitative progress. Michael Hoflich appreciated in value the level of Russian corporate mass media and put forward an initiative of cooperation between ECPV and Russian companies for corporate publication development.

European Corporate Publishing Verband (ECPV) was established in 1999 by fourteen largest German, Austrian and Swiss media companies. At present the association consists of the Europe’s leading mass media companies. The main ECPV goal is the professional, economic and technological development of European corporate mass media.

The Gazprom Magazine has been published since 2004. The highest awards were given to the publication at the Russian corporate mass media competitions. Particularly, in February 2005 the publication won the Best Corporate Publication Grand Prix at the Russia’s Contest and in November the Gazprom’s Information Policy Department won the Best Corporate Publication nomination at the Silver Kamerton Contest for the Gazprom Magazine publishing.
