The main directions of the repair program of this year, as before, is the overhaul of power lines, transformer substations, replacement of poles and wires, core-rod insulation.

Large-scale work is planned to clear the air lines from trees and shrubs and expand trails. In accordance with the approved long-term program for 2019, IDGC of Volga energy sector will carry out these works on the area of 5,569.3 hectares. Clearing will be done both manually and mechanically (using mulchers and special equipment).

 In addition, the company plans to replace 133.6 km of ground wire and 81.5 thousand insulators, more than 35.2 thousand km of overhead power lines of all voltage classes. Over 5,7 thousand transformer substations will also be repaired. The amount of financing of the repair program in 2019 will be more than 2,069 million rubles.

Preparation for the next autumn-winter period is already underway ahead of schedule in all branches of our company. The main goal is to make the power system even more resistant to adverse weather conditions, reduce the risk of possible technological disruptions during the period of maximum loads, and increase the reliability of power supply to consumers.
