The main works were held at 04.10 kV lines.

In the first quarter 2009, IDGC of North-West assigned RUR 151.8 million for repairs in the territory of the company responsibility.

Expenses for the repair work executed independently equaled RUR 78 million; involving of contractors cost less: RUR 73.8 million.

The main works were held at OL 10-0.4 kV (581 km were repaired), and at OL 110-35 kV (92 km). Besides, repair of 55 power transformers at 35-220 kV substations was completed.

Let us remind that the greatest volume of scheduled repair work is traditionally held in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. In total, in 2009, IDGC of North-West assumes to spend around RUR 1.2 billion on repair of electric grid objects.

IDGC of North-West supposes that the task of the power company is to preserve physical volumes of the repair program necessary for reliable operation of equipment in conditions of minimization of expenses.

Meanwhile, The Ministry for Power Industry of the Russian Federation in the today's economic situation insists on a priority of repairs implementation at energy facilities and is going to supervise rigidly the course of realization of repair campaigns, even to implement penal sanctions. This was declared by Minister for Power Industry Sergey Shmatko at the meeting in the Ministry for Power Industry on 27 April, the participants of which were heads of generation, network and marketing companies.
