Depreciation of rented electric grid objects is 70% in average.
IDGC of North-West has won an open competition on the right to enter a rental agreement aimed to carry out transmission and distribution of electric power. The real estate to rent was a municipal property of Lakhdenpokhye settlement (Karelia Republic).
Electric grid municipal unitary enterprise “Electroset” in Lakhdenpokhye includes 105.4 km of air transmission lines, 21.6 km of cable lines of 0.4-10 kV, and 78 transformer substations with sum capacity of 19.5 MVA. The object was put into operation from 1943 to 2003. The level of depreciation is 70%. Condition of the object in general is appraised as unsatisfactory.
The rental agreement for the period of forty nine years between IDGC of North-West and authorities of Lakhdenpokhye settlement is being prepared for signing now.
“We rent municipal grids in the frameworks of the strategy for extension of the company’s presence in regions,” explained the Head of the Department for Capital Management of IDGC of North-West Andrey Khomyakov.
At the present time, “Karelenergo”, a branch of IDGC of North-West, owns electric grids in Belomor and Pudozh regions. It also obtains electric grids of Sortaval municipal district at Karelia Republic in a long-term exploitation according to concession agreement.
