The contract of technological connection of North-West Phosphorus Company (NWPC), JSC to IDGC of North-West, JSC networks was signed.
According to the application, NWPC needs 38 MW of capacity for maintenance with electric power of the future Deer Stream mountain-concentrating combine in the Murmansk Region with prospect to 66 MW in 2018.
Technological connection of NWPC, JSC facilities to the electric networks of Kolenergo, a branch of IDGC of North-West, JSC, is planned in two stages.
The first stage provides designing and building of branch lines 7.3 km long from Kolenergo power transmission line, distribution substation No.150, 150/35/6 kV substations with output of 8 MW of capacities by the end of 2009 and 38 MW, in 2011.
On the first stage the estimated cost of rendering of services, including designing and building of power facilities, is around RUR 332m.
The companies created a working group for handling of urgent issues. It included Head of the Department of Technical Development, IDGC of North-West, Alexander Zaits, First Deputy General Director - Technical Director, NWPC, Mikhail Gusev and Chief Power Engineer, NWPC, Anatoly Zaika.
