Pavel Livinskiy, head of the company, reported on the progress of Rossetiís repair program in the region at a preparatory meeting for the upcoming peak loads season in the Far East Federal District, which was held in Chita chaired by Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of Russia.

- Preparation for winter is on schedule. In the Far East, 52% of Rossetiís planned activities have already been performed. The work will be completed by October 1.

- The emergency reserve is 100% ready. Rossetiís energy personnel will have 160 backup power supply sources with a total capacity of 61.2 MW.

- Comprehensive measures have been taken to protect the health of Rossetiís personnel and contractors - premises are regularly disinfected and a stock of personal protective equipment has been created (over 1.2 million pieces). Over 3,500 people have been tested for COVID-19.

- Reliable power supply has been provided to 23 medical institutions with ventilators.

The overall reliability of the grid infrastructure will continue to improve once the repair program is complete. In the first half of the year, Rosseti reduced the number of accidents by 15% compared to the same period of 2019 in the Far East. Compared to 2017, the figure dropped by more than 41%.

The company continues to implement major investment projects: construction of the 200 km 220 kV Lesozavodsk - Spassk - Dalnevostochnaya transit line in Primorye Territory, facilities for the Power of Siberia gas pipeline in Yakutia and the Amur Region.

Rosseti operates in seven regions of the Far East Federal District. The companyís service area includes 127 220-500 kV substations, 392 35-110 kV substations and more than 13,200 transformer substations. In the FEFD, the group manages a total of 89,300 km of 6-500 kV transmission lines.
