Rosneft and TMK signed cooperation agreement for oil product supply

Rosneft and TMK signed a cooperation agreement for oil product supply within St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The document was signed by Chairman of Rosneft Management Board Igor Sechin and Chairman of TMK Board of Directors Dmitry Pumpyansky.

The Agreement provides for joint research activities in the area of development, manufacturing, and implementation of high-tech lubricants demanded by TMK. Moreover, it is supposed to hold a joint technical audit of equipment in order to reach maximum efficiency in use of the lubricants and production of the new product range.

Commenting on the Agreement signed, Igor Sechin said: “Rosneft and leading Russian industrial holding companies actively develop cooperation to improve competitive performance of domestic manufactures. We are ready to fully supply our strategic partners with petroleum products on an uninterrupted basis and attractive financial terms. The signed agreements allow the Company to enhance efficiency of research and development and to diversify product sales channels".

Dmitry Pumpyansky noted: “We’re starting a new stage of successful and mutually beneficial partnership for our companies. This includes the development, testing and introduction of innovative domestic substitutes for imported lubricants and other petrochemical products required by TMK, as well as technical audit procedures and frameworks for the use of lubricants. This will allow our company to improve its cost structure through decreasing total cost of equipment ownership.”
